Primary Schools - Mini Hockey

Mini Hockey is a small sided version of the game aimed at young players with an ethos of ‘provide a safe and fun environment in which children of all walks of life can learn the 'FUNdamentals of hockey'. Ulster Hockey has been running an extensive primary schools mini hockey competition for some years. This year as well as continuing to organise the primary schools event, Ulster Hockey has extended the mini hockey events for primary school players at club level (U11). It is hoped that this will foster links between school and clubs from a younger age, providing a pathway to join, compete and have FUN at their local junior club as well as their primary school.
