The responsibilities of the Technical Committee include, but are not limited to:

1. Appointing and developing technical personnel for all designated competitions.
2. Reporting to the Board on such matters that arise from its work.
3. Overseeing the programme of the Grassroots Development Officer.
4. Providing co-ordinated input into development plans.
5. Organising international and inter-provincial tournaments when hosted in Ulster.
6. Appointing and overseeing a grounds committee as required.
7. Managing the development of mini-hockey.
8. Ordering, purchasing and maintaining the Ulster playing kit.
